Revolutionary... and yet so intuitive.

I REALLY wish I had this book when I was teaching... but alas, I am in a position right now where I just encourage other people to do these strategies! I bought it for summer reading for the MS and HS teachers I work with (9 teachers) and every single one of them LOVED this book. That was the overwhelming feedback. I have read it twice and I highly recommend that anyone who is attempting to teach students to solve problems read this book (um, every math teacher). This along with the 5 practices for productive mathematical discussions (NCTM) are the cornerstones of our work this year!
